Oxion Inverso Series (Life Science & Fluorescence)
The Oxion Inverso biological microscopes are inverted microscopes designed for the observation of living organisms and tissue cultures in cell culture dishes and flasks. The series covers a wide range of applications from routine brightfield and phase contrast observation to advanced fluorescence microscopy and ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) procedures.
Specific objectives are designed to compensate for the 1.2 mm thick bottoms of petri dishes or culture dishes, ensuring crisp, high-resolution images.

Technical Specifications
- Eyepieces: Pair of DIN HWF Plan 10x/22 mm eyepieces.
- Head: Trinocular 45° inclined tubes. Interpupillary distance 54-75 mm. One diopter adjustment on the left eyepiece. Light split 100:0 / 80:20 (or 0:100 depending on model).
- Nosepiece: Revolving quintuple nosepiece on ball-bearings.
- Objectives:
- Brightfield (PL): LWD Plan 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, 40x/0.60 IOS.
- Phase Contrast (PLPH): LWD Plan Phase 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, 40x/0.60 IOS.
- Fluorescence (PLF/PLPHF): LWD Plan Fluarex 10x/0.30, 20x/0.45, 40x/0.65 IOS (corrected for 1.2 mm thickness).
- Stage: Stage 250 x 230 mm. Models with mechanical stage have a 120 x 78 mm X-Y travel range.
- Condenser: N.A. 0.30 condenser with iris diaphragm and 72 mm working distance. Phase models include pre-centered phase rings (4x/10x and 20x/40x).
- Transmitted Illumination: 5 W LED with adjustable intensity and internal 100-240 V power supply.
- Fluorescence Illumination: 100 W HBO mercury vapor light source with external power supply (only on PLF/PLPHF models).
- ICSI Equipment (ICSI model): Includes heating stage with temperature controller and hydraulic micromanipulators (joysticks).
- Package Content: Power cord, dust cover, user manual. Fluorescence models include filter sets and UV protection shield.
